Nuclear Cardiology Technologist - Full Time - Swing Shift

Join the close-knit Nuclear Cardiology team at NewYork-Presbyterian. Work with dynamic colleagues and a diverse patient population in Nuclear Cardiology. Be involved in a full spectrum of diagnostic and therapeutic care, assisting with the evaluation of various medical conditions related to heart disease. As a Nuclear Cardiology Technologist, you will handle, prepare, administer, and dispose of sensitive radiopharmaceuticals for procedures like Cardiac PYP, MUGA scans, and SPECT Myocardial scans. Perform quality control and adhere to aseptic techniques to ensure safety. Collaborate with radiology physicians to provide comprehensive patient evaluations.

This position is on the day shift, Monday through Friday, from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The location is our Columbia campus in Upper Manhattan/Washington Heights.

Preferred Criteria

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (CT) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB) (CT)
• Prior experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• IV insertion and isotope injection experience

Required Criteria

• New York State Nuclear Medicine License from the Department of Health
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or ARRT certification
• Graduate of an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology Program or hold an A.S. or B.S. Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology
