Qualifications

• Associate's degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology.
• New York State Radiologic Technologist License in Nuclear Medicine.
• ARRT NM or NMTCB certification is required.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and review orders for accuracy.
• Explain procedures, obtain consent, and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and perform imaging per protocols.
• Operate imaging equipment and process diagnostic images.
• Format and transmit imaging data to PACS for interpretation.
• Maintain radiation safety and regulatory compliance.
