Job summary

Essentia Health Virginia Hospital in Virginia, MN is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform nuclear medicine, PET and CT exams, and operate related equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologists. Requires CAHEA-accredited nuclear medicine program or internship eligibility for ARRT/NMTCB; current ARRT(NM) or NMTCB licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAHEA accredited nuclear medicine program.
• OR completed an internship in Nuclear Medicine that allows eligibility to sit for ARRT or NMTCB registration.

Responsibilities

• Provides health care services using radionuclides to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Performs nuclear medicine, PET and CT exams/procedures and related techniques.
• Is responsible for the independent operation of nuclear medicine equipment and for providing high quality diagnostic images to the radiologist and referring physicians.
