Qualifications

• Diploma/certificate in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited school.
• Bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine technology or equivalent.
• ARRT in Nuclear Medicine or NMTCB certification.
• State Nuclear Medicine License.
• Facility-specific licenses/certifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, administers, and measures radioactive isotopes for therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies using radiopharmacy equipment.
• Prepares stock solutions of radioactive materials and calculates doses for radiologists.
• Documents all pertinent information regarding radioactive materials per departmental procedures and disseminates patient preparation instructions.
