Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine procedures under the Radiologist's direction. The role includes handling radioactive materials according to state and federal guidelines and contributing to department QA and productivity across MCC, MMH, MKC, MIP locations.

The position requires Florida CRT license, ARRT(N) or CNMT NMTCB certification, current BLS, and sometimes an Associate degree; on-call hours and site

Qualifications

• High School /GED
• Florida state license required - Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)
• ARRT(N) OR CNMT through NMTCB certification or equivalent required.
• Current BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Performs both diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine procedures.
• Responsible for the receipt, preparation, utilization, and administration of radioactive materials.
• Reviews and verifies that the QA performed meets department and state guidelines.
• Performs procedures on selected anatomy with appropriate scan protocols.
• Must work scheduled and on-call hours and be available at multiple sites.
