Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine procedures across multiple sites. You will be responsible for receipt, preparation, utilization and administration of radioactive materials in accordance with state and federal guidelines.

The role requires working scheduled and on-call hours, and includes QA verification and ensuring patient safety across age groups from adolescence to elderly adults.

Qualifications

• High School / GED
• Florida state license required - CRT
• ARRT(N) OR CNMT certification or NMTCB
• Current BLS required
• Preferred: Associate degree
• Preferred: 1 year Nuclear Med Technologist experience

Responsibilities

• Performs both diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine procedures.
• Responsible for the receipt, preparation, utilization, and administration of radioactive materials.
• Reviews QA performed and ensures compliance with department and state guidelines.
• Performs procedures on anatomy as requested by clinician across specified age groups: adolescence 12–18, young adults 19–30, mature adults 30–45, older adults 46–65, aging adult 66+.
• Applies correct scan protocols to visualize targeted anatomy.

Education

Florida state license required - Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)

ARRT(N) OR CNMT through NMTCB certification or equivalent

Current BLS required

Associate degree (preferred)

One year Nuclear Med Technologist experience (preferred)
