Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Nuclear Medicine technologist to perform nuclear medicine procedures in Memphis, TN. This PRN role administers radiopharmaceuticals, operates imaging equipment, and ensures patient safety according to policy.

The position requires a 2-year degree in nuclear medicine, completion of an approved program, and at least 1 year of related experience, with emphasis on adult/geriatric care and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved program in nuclear medicine.
• Qualified to work with adult and geriatric patients as required by the assignment.
• At least 1 year experience in patient care or nuclear medicine procedures.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient records and physician requests to collect identifying information.
• Determines proper settings and prepares equipment for each exam.
• Administers radiopharmaceuticals and operates imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Maintains radiation safety and adheres to HIPAA and department policies.
• Documents procedures and communicates findings to physicians.
