Qualifications

  • Graduation with a certificate or advanced degree in radiation therapy or nuclear medicine from a program accredited by an agency recognized by the US Department of Education (USDE) or CHEA.
  • Experience accepting new grads; 1+ years preferred.
  • Licensure/certifications required: ARRT (N) and/or CNMT; MD state license; BLS preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Executes basic clinical competence in nuclear medicine technology across all patient types.
  • Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals and adjunctive medications for imaging procedures.
  • Processes data and enhances digital images using computer technology.
  • Provides images, data analysis, and patient information to the physician for interpretation.
  • Ensures safety and regulatory compliance; documents activity in EHRs; maintains supplies and reports equipment issues.
