Kyeatright is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for the day shift in Paducah, KY. The role involves coordinating patient flow, performing nuclear medicine procedures with supervision as needed, and collaborating with radiologists to ensure timely, accurate studies.

You will participate in call rotations, maintain records, and comply with radiation safety standards while utilizing EPIC for patient care activities.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma required.
• CNMT and/or ARRT(N) certification.
• BLS certification.
• Must meet Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate records and documentation related to patient cases.
• Obtains patient histories and coordinates communication with radiologist and healthcare team.
• Provides patient immobilization as required and follows radiation safety standards.
• Continuously monitors patients throughout examinations.
• Assists radiologist with examinations and invasive procedures as needed.
• Uses EPIC for documentation and patient care activities.
• Ensures completed studies are assigned to a radiologist by end of shift.

## Nuclear Medicine Technologist Days FTApply: Paducah, KY: Full time: Posted Yesterday: R26107140**Summary****Job Description:** ### Schedule* **Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts*** **Day shift*** **Full-time: 40 hours per week*** **Call rotation shared among 6 technologists*** **Rotating start times:** 6:30 a.m., 7:00 a.m., or 8:30 a.m.### Position SummaryUnder the direction of the department supervisor, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist oversees the daily flow of patients through the department and coordinates daily exam assignments. Performs nuclear medicine procedures at a technical level requiring minimal supervision of technical details.Performs a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in the application of prescribed ionizing radiation and other forms of energy.
