Community Medical Center in New Jersey seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic radionuclide procedures, under supervision. The role emphasizes independent judgment, patient care, and strong guest relations within Radiology.

Accredited program graduate with NJ license and ARRT/NMTCB credentials (or eligible) is required, plus BLS and department orientations. Day shift, part-time 20 hours weekly; $12,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
• NJ State license
• Registered by the ARRT or the NMTCB, or Registry eligible
• BLS through the American Heart Association
• Successful completion of site personnel general orientation and department specific orientation
• Successful completion of IV training class
• Successful completion of radiation safety, survey and decontamination orientation/training by RS

Responsibilities

• Check, measure and record radiopharmaceuticals prior to administering to patients
• Performs quality controls on equipment and radiopharmaceuticals
• Administers radiopharmaceuticals to patients intravenously, orally or by inhalation
• Performs imaging procedures
• Maintains reliable records under the guidelines of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission
• Performs other duties as required by the department

Education
