Job summary

PeaceHealth Ketchikan Medical Center is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a Full Time, day shift. You will work with radiologists and imaging staff to deliver comprehensive nuclear medicine services in a supportive rural hospital environment.

The role offers autonomy, diverse procedures, and a collaborative team, with opportunities to practice a full scope including generator elution, radiopharmaceutical prep, quality control, and image acquisition.

Qualifications

• Accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year prior experience preferred.
• Demonstrated venipuncture competency.
• Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (CNMT or ARRT-N acceptable).
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Food Handler’s Card.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized nuclear medicine procedures with patient interaction to provide high-quality care and diagnostics.
• Operate equipment for data acquisition, reconstruction, and image documentation with quality control.
• Prepare, calibrate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals per protocol.
• Maintain records for receipt, dispensing, disposal of radioactive materials and QC activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice and training.
