Job Opportunity: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

$10,000 Sign-on Bonus

Location: 155 Crystal Run Rd. Middletown, NY

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Perform routine and specialized nuclear medicine procedures and examinations for diagnosis
  2. Administer radiopharmaceuticals and medications for imaging and therapeutic procedures
  3. Operate CT scanners used in conjunction with nuclear medicine procedures (PET technologists only)
  4. Provide images, data analysis, and patient information for interpretation or therapy
  5. Process data and enhance digital images using advanced computer technology
  6. Evaluate images for quality and calibration of equipment
  7. Evaluate and develop new protocols
  8. Assist in accreditation processes for the American College of Radiology (every 3 years)
  9. Perform quality control, maintain schedules, assist radiologists, and ensure efficient department operation
  10. Review patient data and requisitions to ensure proper setup and safety
  11. Educate patients about procedures to ensure understanding and safety
  12. Review examinations for technical accuracy, present to radiologists, and communicate with patient care team

Required Qualifications:
  1. High School diploma or equivalent
  2. CNMT certification
  3. Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (for PET technologists)
  4. CT Certification within 180 days of hire
  5. At least 1 year of experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate or Baccalaureate degree in radiography, radiology, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine
Compensation and Benefits:

For New York residents, the hourly range is $28.03 to $54.95, based on factors such as education, experience, and certifications. Benefits include comprehensive health plans, incentive programs, stock purchase options, and 401(k) contributions.
