You will handle patient care, dose calculations, quality control, and ensure proper documentation while rotating to outpatient locations and hospitals as needed. The position requires flexibility with a minimum 28 hours per week and call duties.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients and co-workers with care and respect to expedite patient care.
• Communicates instructions clearly to patients and explains procedures.
• Ensures exams are coded, networked to ISITE, and charges entered correctly.
• Maintains records of radiopharmaceuticals receipt, use and disposal.
• Verifies patient identity with two identifiers and follows universal protocol.
• Calculates and records patient dose per departmental policy.
• Performs nuclear medicine exams with high proficiency and produces optimal results.
• Performs quality control checks on imaging and non-imaging equipment.
