Requirements include a California Nuclear Medicine license, NMTCB/ARRT certification where applicable, and BLS CPR with CPI to be obtained within 30 days. On-call coverage and in-person work are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

BLS CPR required on hire; CPI within 30 days of hire.
Excellent communication and patient education skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality nuclear medicine studies.
Instruct, educate, and prepare patients for exams.
Safely administer isotopes and adhere to radiation safety standards.
Perform daily quality control and monitor the Nuclear Medicine department.
Maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations.
Apply appropriate injection protocols and assess patients before, during, and after procedures.
