Nuclear Medicine Technologist - CNYPAI - Full Time - Days

Description

Join ColumbiaDoctors and NewYork-Presbyterian at the Columbia/NewYork-Presbyterian Advanced Imaging (CNYPAI), which specializes in outpatient radiology and imaging services using MRI and PET CT. Our mission is to diagnose and treat diseases with cutting-edge technology and expert collaboration, aiming to improve health outcomes and research.

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will handle, prepare, administer, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals. Responsibilities include performing quality control, maintaining aseptic techniques, managing medical records, and collaborating with radiology physicians for patient evaluation.

Work schedule is Monday-Friday, 10am-6pm, with alternating Saturdays based on operational needs.

Preferred Criteria
  • ARRT (MR) certification
  • NY State Department of Health Diagnostic Radiography License with contrast
  • Experience in PET/CT, research, and with GE equipment
  • Prior experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • IV insertion and isotope injection skills
Required Criteria
  • NY State Nuclear Medicine License
  • ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT) or ARRT (R) certification
  • Graduate of an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology Program or degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
