Job summary

Medical Outsourcing Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for our Illinois facility. The role focuses on producing high-quality nuclear imaging and collaborating with physicians to interpret results in a patient-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Board Certified NM Technician (NMTCB, CNMT, ARRT (N)).
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks.
• Proficient in performing Nuclear Spect Imaging and maintaining quality images.

Responsibilities

• Perform Nuclear Spect Imaging to assist in diagnostic evaluations.
• Ensure aseptic techniques during procedures.
• Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment for high-quality images.
• Collaborate with physicians to interpret results and produce reports.
• Stay updated on nuclear medicine terminology and advancements.
• Educate patients about procedures and ensure their comfort.
• Maintain accurate patient records and image documentation.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards in the imaging suite.
• Contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

Nuclear Medicine Technologist Qualifications & Responsibilities:

• Board Certified Nuclear Medicine Technician, accredited by NMTCB, CNMT, ARRT (N)
• Active BLS
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to complete background checks required
• Perform Nuclear Spect Imaging to assist in diagnostic evaluations
• Ensure proper aseptic techniques are followed during procedures
• Maintain and operate medical imaging equipment to ensure the production of high-quality images
• Collaborate with physicians to interpret results and provide accurate reports
• Stay updated on medical terminology and advancements in nuclear medicine
• Educate patients about procedures and ensure their comfort throughout the process
