Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technologist program required.
  • BLS Certification and NMTCB or ARRT certification needed.

Job description

Description
  • Hours tend to be 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM
  • Weekend requirement every 5th Saturday
  • On-call rotation from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM every 5th weekend and one weeknight on-call from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM every other week

The Nuclear Med Tech reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

This role provides nuclear medicine imaging and patient care services at defined levels to patients.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technologist program
  • BLS Certification
  • Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or ARRT Registered Technologist RT(R)

Preferred:

  • 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist preferred
