Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO, is seeking a Full-Time Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support Washington University Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology. The role involves preparing patients and equipment for Nuclear Medicine and PET procedures, performing studies, and participating in on-call rotations.

Full-Time Nuclear Med Technologist at Washington University Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Barnes-Jewish Hospital (St. Louis, MO)

Position Details

• Day Shift: Monday – Friday (8-hour shifts) with varying start times from 6am to 10am
• Paid On-Call: Evening, Weekend, and Holiday Call Rotation - You’ll be compensated for being on call, even if you’re not called in
• Prepares patient & equipment for Nuclear Medicine and PET diagnostic imaging, therapeutic procedures, and quality control.
• Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other sites as required by work area.
• BJH Nuclear Medicine, PET and Theranostics treatments with Dosimetry Nuclear Medicine imaging

Requirements

• Associate degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher level of education)
• Nuclear Medicine Tech Certification
• RT (N) or CNMT

Experience

• If you have experience in one of the following areas, you could be a good fit: Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT), Nuclear Tech, Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT), Tomography, Radiation Safety Officer , Radiologic Technologist – Nuclear Medicine, Nuclear Medicine Imaging Technologist, Radiotracer Technologist, PET Technologist
