Catholic Health Physician Practices in New Hyde Park, NY, seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform advanced nuclear medicine procedures, operate imaging equipment, and ensure patient safety throughout all steps.
Join our expert imaging team to deliver high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radionuclides, maintain documentation, and collaborate with physicians and nurses in a mission-driven environment.
Competenze
- Licensed and registered with the NYS Department of Health.
- Certified by NMTCB or ARRT (Nuclear Medicine).
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
- High School Diploma or Associate degree required.
- SPECT/CT experience.
- CT certification highly desirable.
Mansioni
- Perform advanced nuclear medicine procedures to support diagnosis and treatment of disease
- Operate imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures
- Follow radiation-safety, infection-control, and radioactive-material handling procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient, dose, imaging, and quality-control documentation.
- Communicate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care.
