Catholic Health's St. Joseph Hospital on Long Island seeks a skilled Nuclear Medicine professional to operate imaging equipment, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and ensure quality control in a compliant environment.

Candidate must hold NYSDOH licensure and ARRT or NMTCB certification with BLS. Prior experience in Nuclear Medicine is preferred, and excellence in patient safety is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Licensed by NYSDOH and certified in Nuclear Medicine.
• Certification: ARRT or NMTCB required.
• BLS: American Heart Association accepted.

Responsibilities

• Operate Nuclear Medicine equipment per physician orders and protocols.
• Perform diagnostic Nuclear Medicine imaging studies per departmental procedures.
• Handle radiopharmaceuticals, QC, and regulatory compliance per NYS requirements.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment and keep accurate records.
• Ensure patient safety and education during procedures.
• Navigate PACS and RIS to manage images and patient data.
