Job summary

ThedaCare’s Nuclear Medicine team in Appleton, Wisconsin seeks an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform radiopharmaceutical procedures under radiologist and cardiologist supervision. You will work with planar, SPECT, and dynamic imaging, while maintaining strict ALARA safety standards and accurate documentation in the EMR.

Responsibilities include applying regulatory guidelines, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with the health care team to deliver high-quality imaging

Qualifications

• NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification required.
• Knowledge of state regulatory requirements for radiopharmaceutical handling, administration and storage.
• Experience with planar, SPECT, and dynamic nuclear medicine procedures.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform nuclear medicine procedures per protocol and site reading physician.
• Apply ALARA principles and ensure radiation safety for patients and staff.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams; document procedures accurately in EMR.
