Job summary

HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform radiographic procedures and administer radiopharmaceuticals. You will operate Nuclear Medicine cameras, ensure radiation safety, and support daily department operations in Okeechobee, FL.

Under supervision, you will collaborate with physicians, maintain quality imaging, and uphold the hospital's Code of Conduct and mission values while providing patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine or Radiography program.
• Florida DOH Radiology Technologist certification.
• AART Certification in Nuclear Medicine or related modality.
• Certification in Radiology, CT, MRI, Ultrasound or Mammography.
• Basic Life Support.

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, perform general radiographic procedures.
• Apply isotopes for radiographic diagnosis with independent judgment.
• Perform tests in-patients and out-patients.
• Utilize Nuclear Medicine cameras and equipment.
• Administer pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals.
• Demonstrate radiation safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Adhere to Code of Conduct and Mission and Value statements.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine or Radiography program

Florida DOH Radiology Technologist certification

AART Certification in Nuclear Medicine or related modality

Certification in Radiology, CT, MRI, Ultrasound or Mammography
