Stability Direct is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a position in Montebello, California.

Job Description & Requirements

Benefits:
  • $10,000 sign-on bonus
  • $55.00 - $77.00 hourly rate, based on experience
  • Day shift only, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm or 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
  • No weekend call
Job Summary:

Administers radiopharmaceuticals or radiation intravenously for disease detection or treatment, using radioisotope equipment. Performs screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation, coordinates patient flow, and maintains quality control.

Job Requirements:

Education and Work Experience:

  • Diploma/certificate from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine (Required)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in nuclear medicine technology or equivalent (Preferred)

Licenses/Certifications:

  • State Nuclear Medicine License (Required in CA and HI)
  • Registered by ARRT in Nuclear Medicine or certified by NMTCB (Required in CA and OR)
  • Venipuncture certification (Required in CA and HI)
  • State Nuclear Med Tech (SNMT) (Required)
Essential Functions:
  • Prepares, administers, and measures radioactive isotopes for diagnostic and therapeutic studies.
  • Performs screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation.
  • Documents all pertinent information regarding radioactive materials.
  • Obtains patient information and provides preparation instructions.
  • Raises questions or issues to senior staff as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
