Job summary

US Heart and Vascular is seeking a full-time Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Heartland Cardiology in Wichita, KS.

You will perform radiopharmaceutical preparation and dosing, explain procedures to patients, ensure radiation safety, and maintain equipment while protecting patient privacy.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology.
• Open to Radiologic Technologist and willing to train.
• Must be registered with ARRT or NMTCB.
• 2 years of experience is preferred but not required.
• BLS/CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Explains procedure to patients to assure cooperation and optimum test results.
• Prepares stock solutions of radiopharmaceutical materials, calculate doses, and administers doses under direction of Physician.
• Follows radiation safety techniques in use and disposal of radioactive materials.
• Maintains quality control of all equipment.
• Safeguard the privacy of patient health information.
• Attends required meetings.
• Performs related work as required.
