Job summary

Beloit Health System, Inc. is seeking a Nuclear Med Tech to join our team in Beloit, WI. The position features a 1st shift, 8-hour days between 6:30 am and 6:30 pm, with a 40-hour workweek and eligible benefits.

A sign-on bonus is offered for qualified candidates. Essential duties include performing in vivo and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, preparing radiopharmaceuticals, operating protection and imaging equipment, and ensuring strict radiation safety.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from AMA-accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
• ARRT Nuclear Medicine (or CNMT) registration within 12 months of graduation.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs in vivo and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures.
• Prepares radiopharmaceuticals for administration by injection, ingestion, and inhalation under approved protocols.
• Operates radiation protection equipment, calibration and imaging devices, and related equipment.
• Applies radiation protection principles to minimize exposure.
• Evaluates images for technical quality and documents exams.
• Supports patient care and education during procedures.
• Maintains patient records with confidentiality and proper documentation.
• Orders radiopharmaceuticals for the next day’s work and coordinates with supervision for equipment maintenance.
