SUMMARY
Operates the Nuclear Medicine equipment and ancillary support systems to perform diagnostic Nuclear Medicine procedures per provider orders. This is in accordance with approved techniques, policies, regulatory standards, and organizational policies. Responsible for all radioisotope utilization, storage, and safety in accordance with NRC regulations. Adheres to professional standards set by the NYS Department of Health and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Canton-Potsdam Hospital is a not-for-profit community healthcare facility with 94 beds. Our mission is to provide exceptional healthcare services. We offer a range of core programs including emergency medicine, acute care, hospitalist medicine, and critical care, along with outpatient services in several locations across NY.

SCHEDULE: 7.5-hour shifts, 7 am - 3 pm

UNION: 1199-721 - LPN & Technical (CPH). Note: Not all per diem roles are union eligible.
EDUCATION & LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Medium Work - Exerting 20-50 pounds occasionally, 10-25 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly. Requires frequent walking, standing, or squatting.
PAY RANGE: $34.56 - $51.26. Pay is based on experience, qualifications, and other factors. This range is a good faith estimate and may be adjusted.
