SUMMARY
Operates the Nuclear Medicine equipment and ancillary support systems to perform diagnostic Nuclear Medicine procedures per provider orders. This is in accordance with approved techniques, policies, and regulatory standards as established by regulatory agencies, and standards and policies set forth by the organization. In accordance with NRC regulations, assumes responsibility for all radioisotope utilization, storage, and safety. Adheres to the professional standards of the NYS Department of Health and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Canton-Potsdam Hospital is a warm and caring not-for-profit community healthcare facility with 94 beds. Our mission is to provide exceptional healthcare services to the community. We offer a wide array of core programs including emergency medicine, acute care, hospitalist medicine, and critical care. We also provide outpatient health services in Brasher Falls, Canton, Colton, Gouverneur, Massena, Norfolk, and Potsdam, NY.

SCHEDULE: 7.5-hour shifts, 7am-3pm

UNION: 1199-721 - LPN & Technical (CPH). Note: Not all per diem roles are union eligible.
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS: Refer to department-specific requirements for experience, educational expectations, and continuing education.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Medium work; exerting 20-50 pounds occasionally, 10-25 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly; requires frequent walking, standing, or squatting.
PAY RANGE: $34.56 - $51.26. The listed range is a good faith estimate and may be adjusted based on experience, qualifications, and other factors.
