Job summary

ARMStaffing is recruiting a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week contract in Neptune, New Jersey. The technologist will operate Nuclear Medicine equipment, prepare radiopharmaceuticals, and assess images to ensure quality and accurate identification.

Responsibilities include radiation safety, calibration of equipment, and maintaining isotopes records while adhering to NRC and JCAHO guidelines. On-call for weekends/holidays may be required, with coordination to clinical teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hospital-based Nuclear Medicine experience.
• NJDEP license required.
• ARRT or NMTCB registry required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Nuclear Medicine equipment and acquire diagnostic radio images.
• Prepare radioactive tracer compounds for patient use.
• Calibrate equipment and assay radio nuclides.
• Maintain isotope records and ensure radiation safety compliance.
• Follow NRC and JCAHO guidelines and safety practices.
• Rotate duties across areas such as Cardiology and PET/CT.
• Provide patient communication and clerical support as needed.
