Qualifications

• Prepares, measures and administers radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic or therapeutic studies.
• Performs and assists with nuclear medicine studies while ensuring patient safety.
• Maintains regulatory compliance with federal/state/local requirements.
• Participates in CQI activities and quality improvement initiatives.

Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiology Sciences Program in Nuclear Medicine and completed required clinical hours • Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience • Certification: NMTCB or ARRT (N); Basic Life Support BLS; 1 advanced registry (NMTCB(PET), NMTCB(NCT), NMTCB(CT), NMTCB(RS)) • Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice • Current Advanced Nuclear Medicine Technologists who are moving to Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist title on the career ladder must complete all required Nuclear Medicine AND Advanced Nuclear Medicine Technologist competencies.
