Overview

Job Title : Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location : West Branch, Michigan

Shift : 7 : 30 AM – 4 : 00 PM (40 guaranteed hours per week)

On-Call : No

Weekend : No

Contract Type : Full-Time, 40 hours / week

Responsibilities

• Inject and administer radiopharmaceuticals, calculate and assay activities, and maintain accurate dose records.
• Prepare, measure, and perform quality control of radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and / or therapeutic purposes.
• Position patients and operate Nuclear Medicine equipment, including gamma cameras (planar and SPECT), PET scanners, and radiation detectors.
• Monitor patients during procedures while ensuring accurate acquisition of imaging data.
• Start and manage IV access with proper site selection and aseptic techniques.
• Conduct and document required quality control tests on all Nuclear Medicine equipment.
• Follow strict radiation safety guidelines, adhering to ALARA principles and NRC regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience (required)
• ARRT (N) or CNMT certification (required)
• BLS (AHA) certification (required)
• Familiarity with Radiology Information System (RIS) and Hospital Information System (HIS) preferred
• Pay - $65 - $70

Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
