Job summary

Premier Cardiovascular Consultants is seeking a diagnostic nuclear medicine technician for full-time work across their Detroit and Troy locations. This role demands excellent communication and organizational skills, requiring a self-motivated, customer service-oriented individual. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic procedures, managing patient studies, and maintaining accurate records. Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience preferred in diagnostic nuclear medicine.
  • Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist in Michigan.
  • Maintaining certifications in Basic Life Support or Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to Detroit and Troy locations as needed.
  • Perform all phases of diagnostic nuclear medicine safely.
  • Acquire and process patient studies accurately.
  • Maintain accurate daily records.

Job Description

We have multiple locations in the Metro Detroit area. Our main office is located in Troy, MI. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being around others and is able to multi-task.

This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills, and is customer service driven. Qualified candidates must be self‑motivated, well organized, a team player with a positive attitude, and have experience with EMR systems.

Essential Position Function and Duties (but not limited to)
  • Travel to Detroit & Troy locations
  • Independently performs all phases of diagnostic nuclear medicine using technical knowledge and good judgment to provide safe and effective examinations.
  • Acquiring and processing of patient studies
  • Set up reading for physicians
  • Maintaining accurate and complete daily records
Customer Relations
  • Treats guests, patients, physicians, and other employees with care, courtesy, and respect
  • Responds quickly and appropriately to customer request
  • Looks for and suggests ways to better meet customer needs
  • Answers clinic communications systems promptly and with courtesy and respect
Teamwork
  • Works cooperatively within own department and other areas
  • Willingly accepts additional responsibility – demonstrates cooperation at all times
  • Responds quickly to request for assistance from provider, co‑worker and/or management staff
  • Required to work closely with patients and associates
  • Interacts with other departments on problem solving efforts
  • Accepts feedback from patients, visitors, clinic employees, physicians and general public
Education & Experience
  • 2 years of experience (preferred)
  • Certified by the ARRT and/or NMTCB
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist License with the State of Michigan (current)
  • Certified Basic Life Support or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (maintain current at all times)
