Qualifications

• Associate Degree required.
• Current State Registered Radiologic Technician license required.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) or NMTCB certification required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Strong technical skills and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures according to physician orders and protocols.
• Operate imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Follow ALARA principles and radiation safety guidelines during all procedures.
• Prepare, process, and organize diagnostic images for interpretation.
• Verify patient identity, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records.

A full-time Nuclear Medicine Technologist opportunity is available in Fort Pierce, Florida.

The facility offers advanced cardiovascular services, including open-heart surgery, along with orthopedic, oncology, and adult and pediatric emergency care.

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures using ionizing radiation while following ALARA safety standards to ensure the highest level of patient care. This role involves operating specialized nuclear medicine equipment, producing high-quality diagnostic images, and supporting physicians in the evaluation and diagnosis of a wide range of medical conditions. The technologist will work alongside a collaborative healthcare team in a fast-paced environment that serves patients across multiple specialties.
