Job summary

Progeny Human Resource Solutions is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic procedures using ionizing radiation in a hospital radiology setting. The role requires strict adherence to ALARA practices and proper operation of imaging equipment and film processing.

The candidate must hold ARRT or NMTCB certification and an ACC/Basic Life Support credential, with an Associate Degree as the minimum education. Shifts cover standard daytime blocks and coverage per scheduling needs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures with ionizing radiation for screening/diagnostic use, adhering to ALARA standards and supervising equipment for exposure and film processing.
• 8-hour shifts: 6A-2:30P, 7A-3P, 8A-4P, 9A-5P, 3P-11P.

Job Responsibilities

Nuclear Medicine Technologist candidates will have the following job responsibilities:

• Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for screening and diagnostic purpose in accordance with ALARA standards, and regulates the equipment used to expose the x-ray film, develops and organizes films.
• 8 HR SHIFTS ONLY- 6A- 2:30P, 7A-3P, 8A-4P, 9A-5P, 3P-11P

Job Qualifications

Nuclear Medicine Technologist candidates must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• State Registered Radiologic Technician
• Associate Degree
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT), or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB)- REQUIRED
