Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is seeking a Nuclear Medicine professional to perform radionuclide procedures under radiologists and the Nuclear Medicine Manager. The role requires eligibility for Florida licensure and ARRT or NMTCB certification, with internship completion and preferred two years of related experience.

The position emphasizes patient safety, protocol preparation, and collaboration with the Nuclear Medicine team to deliver diagnostic and therapeutic services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nuclear medicine.
• Internship completed; 2 years of related experience preferred.
• State of Florida licensure and ARRT or NMTCB certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform radionuclide diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the direction of Radiologists and the Manager of Nuclear Medicine.
• Adhere to safety protocols, prepare protocols, and ensure quality control and patient care.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

Under the direction of the Radiologists, Cardiologists and the Manager of Nuclear Medicine, performs a variety of radionuclide procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in the utilization of radioactive drugs for the diagnosis and therapy of disease in humans.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY

Required Education:

Graduate of an accredited school of nuclear medicine

Required Experience:

Minimum: Completion of internship. Preferred: Two (2) years of job related experience.

Required Certification/License/Registry:

State of Florida licensure and certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
