Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) is a private, nonprofit community-based health system serving a 22-county region in North Florida and South Georgia. The Nuclear Medicine team performs radionuclide procedures under radiologist and cardiologist supervision, utilizing radioactive drugs for diagnosis and therapy with independent judgment.

Graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine program, internship completed, and Florida licensure with ARRT or NMTCB are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nuclear medicine.
• Completion of internship.
• Florida licensure and ARRT/NMTCB certification in NM.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Radiologists, Cardiologists and the Manager of Nuclear Medicine, performs radionuclide procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in the use of radioactive drugs for diagnosis and therapy.

Qualifications

Required Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nuclear medicine

Required Experience

Minimum: Completion of internship. Preferred: Two (2) years of job related experience.

Required Certification/License/Registry

State of Florida licensure and certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
