Job summary

Health Care Administrators Association® (HCAA) is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging and support patient care across Utah facilities. You will operate imaging systems, verify orders, and ensure radiopharmaceutical safety while maintaining accurate documentation.

Qualifications

  • Current state license in Utah.
  • ARRT or NMTCB certification.

Job description

Role Overview

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging exams using specialized equipment, collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate results.

Key Responsibilities

Verify patient identity and orders, operate imaging systems, review image quality, adhere to radiation safety standards, educate and support patients, maintain documentation, and assist with training.

Qualifications & Skills

Current state license, ARRT or NMTCB certification, BLS and IV certifications, with preferred experience in nuclear medicine and a bachelor’s degree. Skills include handling radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring safety and compliance, operating imaging equipment, and demonstrating strong communication, teamwork, and time management.

Physical & Safety Requirements

Ability to read labels, operate monitors, lift and transfer patients, and navigate busy environments while maintaining safety and infection control protocols.

Work Environment & Compensation

Support flexible, PRN shifts across multiple locations, with responsibilities including weekend, holiday, and evening call. The hourly rate ranges from $38.77 to $59.82, with comprehensive benefits to promote well-being.
