Job description

Role Overview:

A Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures using specialized equipment, ensuring accurate and high-quality results. They collaborate with healthcare professionals, verify patient identities, prepare patients, and review images for quality. The role involves adhering to radiation safety standards, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting patient comfort and education. The technologist operates imaging systems, maintains accurate documentation, and assists in training team members and students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Candidates must hold a current state license, ARRT or NMTCB certification, BLS, and IV certification. Preferred qualifications include at least one year of clinical Nuclear Medicine experience and a bachelor’s degree. Essential skills include radiopharmaceutical handling, radiation safety, equipment operation, patient care, communication, and teamwork. Physical requirements include manual dexterity, mobility, and the ability to handle heavy equipment and assist with patient transfers.

Key Duties:

Perform exams per protocol, review image quality, follow safety protocols, educate patients, operate imaging systems, document accurately, and support infection control and safety standards. The role offers flexible PRN scheduling, with opportunities across multiple facilities, and involves rotating call duties.

Location & Compensation:
