GENERAL SUMMARY:

To deliver quality imaging using diagnostic imaging techniques to detect and map radioactive drugs in the human body. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist administers radioactive pharmaceuticals to patients and monitors the characteristics and functions of tissues or organs where they localize.

The role you’ll contribute:

• Deal efficiently, ethically, and courteously with all patients, physicians, and hospital personnel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to address the physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and age-specific needs of the patient population.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• High School Diploma or GED, graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program, certification by the ARRT or NMTCB.
• Prior Nuclear Medicine experience required.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

• BLS Certification at employment or within one month of employment.
• Current Certification from the ARRT, NMT Certification, or NMTCB Certification.
