Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for Saint Mary’s Health Network in Reno, Nevada. This per diem position involves working with a multi-disciplinary team to provide quality imaging, supporting the Radiologist in diagnostics, and managing imaging processes.

Candidates should have knowledge in anatomy and medical terminology, possess a current BLS certificate, and be eligible for registry accreditation. This role offers flexibility in shifts, primarily days, in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• One year of acute clinical radiology experience preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required.
• At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate required.
• Registry eligible and within 90 days of hire date accredited, or actively accredited by the NMTCB and/or ARRT (N) required.
• State license required.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Provide quality imaging.
• Support the Radiologist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Process and transmit images to PACS.

Overview

Saint Mary’s Health Network, a member of Prime Healthcare, is a North‑Nevada healthcare system offering inpatient, outpatient, ancillary, and wellness services. The 352‑bed Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center provides diagnostic imaging, nuclear medicine, and other specialty care.

Responsibilities

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works collaboratively within a multi‑disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality imaging. The technologist supports the Radiologist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, processes and transmits images to PACS.

Qualifications

• One year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required.
• At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate required.
