Job summary

Prime Healthcare is looking for a dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join Saint Mary’s Health Network in Reno, NV. You will work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to provide quality imaging and assist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

The ideal candidate has knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology, along with required credentials such as the BLS certificate and eligibility for NMTCB or ARRT (N). This is a full-time position with a variable shift.

Qualifications

• One year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred.
• At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred.
• State license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality imaging as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Assist the Radiologist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Process and transmit images to PACS.

Responsibilities

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality imaging. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works in support of the Radiologist, providing assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
• At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate required.
• Minimum requirement-Registry eligible and within 90 days of hire date accredited, or actively accredited by the NMTCB and/or ARRT (N) required.
• Must complete an accredited school of study in Nuclear Medicine.
• State license required.
