The successful candidate will work with nuclear physicians, calibrate gamma cameras, manage radiopharmaceuticals safely, and uphold regulatory standards while providing clear explanations to patients and maintaining high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Current NJ State license and ARRT/NMTCB certification.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist nuclear physicians with imaging procedures.
• Calibrate equipment and perform quality control on gamma cameras.
• Explain procedures to patients and verify proper identification.
• Handle radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with safety regulations.
• Adhere to hospital, state, and federal standards.
• Complete assigned tasks accurately and on time.

Job description

We are seeking a full-time Nuclear Medicine Technologist to assist with specialized imaging procedures, ensuring accurate test performance and patient comfort.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting nuclear physicians with imaging procedures
• Calibrating equipment and performing quality control on gamma cameras
• Explaining procedures to patients and ensuring proper identification
• Handling radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with safety regulations
• Adhering to hospital, state, and federal standards
• Completing assigned tasks accurately and on time

Qualifications Required

• Graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
• Current NJ State license
• Certification from ARRT and/or NMTCB
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years hospital experience
• NMTCB Fusion Certification or ARRT R, CT certifications
