Cardiology of Southern California is looking for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our office!
We are seeking full-time candidates but are also open to part-time or per-diem arrangements. The full-time schedule is Monday-Thursday, 7-9 hours per day. We perform between 9-13 nuclear stress tests per day using a Digirad Cardius XPO camera with Myoview and Lexiscan. Testing is conducted on Mondays in El Cajon with a dual-head camera and Tuesday-Thursday in City with a triple-head camera.
The technologist is responsible for imaging, processing, starting and administering IV medications, assisting with RSO duties, and ensuring lab compliance.
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist plays a vital role in the healthcare team, specializing in the use of radioactive materials for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. This position involves performing nuclear medicine procedures to assist in evaluating various medical conditions. The technologist will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnostic imaging and patient care.

Cardiology of Southern California is a fast-paced private practice cardiology clinic with two MDs, one Nurse Practitioner, 25 employees, and two locations with on-site testing such as echocardiograms, vascular studies, nuclear stress tests, Holter monitors, MCTs, etc. We see over 150 patients per day and have been operating for over 30 years.
