NUCLEAR MEDICINE TECHNOLOGIST

Schedule: Per Diem

Shift: Day shift

Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Section Leader of Nuclear Medicine, provides direct care to patients undergoing nuclear medicine procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:
  1. Education: Associates degree in Science or a certificate degree in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited school required.
  2. Experience: Minimum of one year experience in Nuclear Medicine preferred.
  3. Licensure and/or Certification: Current licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required. BLS healthcare provider certification required. Current registration as R.T.(N)(ARRT) or CNMT required within 1 year of hire. Employees hired prior to January 1, 2009, are grandfathered from this requirement.
  4. Skills: Knowledge of state radiation guidelines necessary to function within a Nuclear Medicine department. IV skills and proficiency required. Must be computer proficient, including PACS and HIS/RIS. Ability to maintain confidential information required.
