Job summary

Community Health Network seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform nuclear medicine and molecular imaging procedures, with opportunities to cross train into CT. The technologist will prepare, administer, and document radiopharmaceuticals and exposure, under supervision of a licensed practitioner.

Indiana license and ARRT(N) or NMTCB registry are required; two years of clinical experience preferred. The role is full-time, with potential for part-time consideration.

Qualifications

  • Current license as Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the State of Indiana and ARRT (N) or NMTCB registry.
  • If hired without certification, radiology student permit and must obtain certification within six months of hire.
  • Two years of Nuclear Medicine clinical experience; these years can be from an accredited Nuclear Medicine training program.
  • Education: 2 year associate degree in Nuclear Medicine; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Our NM department utilizes SPECT/CT.

This is a full time position, but part time can be considered, if desired.

The Nuclear Medicine technologist performs nuclear medicine and molecular imaging procedures or therapies at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed practitioner and under the supervision of an authorized user. Nuclear medicine technologists prepare, administer and document activities related to ionizing radiation (radioactive material and/or computed tomography) and nonionizing radiation, medications, and radiation exposure in accordance with federal and state laws, regulations and institutional policy. Nuclear Medicine Technologist may perform computed tomography exams that create the images needed for interpretation.

  • License: Current license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the State of Indiana, Current ARRT (N) or NMTCB registry·
