The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology with ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification and a valid CPR credential, plus at least 1 year of imaging experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform Nuclear Medicine and PET procedures and support high-quality imaging.
• Provide patient care within scope (interviews, assessments, education as needed).
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals following ALARA safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation and data entry in RIS/PACS and other systems.
• Ensure room readiness, cleanliness, stocking, and safe handling of radioactive materials.
• Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team and assist with hand-offs/shift reports.
• Contribute to quality/process improvements and assist with training as needed.

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location: Houston, TX 77030

Pay Rate: $4,000 - $4,400 per week | translates to $50 - $55/hr | paid bi-weekly

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (40 hrs/week)

Dress Code: Pewter-colored scrubs

What you’ll do

• Perform Nuclear Medicine and PET procedures and support high-quality imaging
• Provide patient care within scope (POCT, IV insertion, patient interview/assessment, discharge education/confirmation)
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and follow ALARA safety guidelines
• Maintain strong documentation and accurate data entry (RIS/PACS and other systems)
• Maintain room readiness, cleanliness, stocking, and safe handling/disposal of radioactive materials
• Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team; assist with hand-offs and shift reporting
• Participate in quality/process improvement and support training/education efforts as needed

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology (or related)
• ARRT (N) or NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification
• Texas Medical Board (TMB) CMRT license
• CPR certification
• 1+ year imaging experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist/PET
