  • Within six months (180 days) of hiring: National Registered Technologist (NRT) certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology or National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.

Overview

Conducts Nuclear Medicine examinations for both diagnostic and therapeutic applications under physician supervision. Responsibilities include preparing patients, administering prescribed doses of radioactive and non-radioactive pharmaceuticals, performing precise calculations, and manipulating data in accordance with established protocols.

Responsibilities

Ensures the proper preparation and ordering of radioactive materials, calibrates equipment, implements stringent quality control measures, monitors patient conditions, and performs additional assigned tasks.
