Job summary

Pride Health in Hackensack is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures and administer radiopharmaceuticals. This full-time position guarantees 40 hours per week with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

The technologist will assist with Nuclear Cardiology and PET/CT procedures, maintaining compliance with all safety regulations. Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a hospital setting and possess

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of recent Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience in a busy hospital setting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures.
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Perform radionuclide imaging and functional studies.
  • Assist physicians with therapeutic radioisotope procedures.
  • Evaluate image quality using PACS.
  • Operate Nuclear Medicine equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Prepare radioactive tracer compounds.
  • Calibrate imaging equipment and assay radionuclides.
  • Receive, inspect, store, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals according to NRC and state regulations.
  • Maintain radiation safety and contamination-free work environments.
  • Rotate through Nuclear Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology, and PET/CT as needed.
  • Utilize Epic, PACS, Teletracking, and Nuclear Medicine Information Systems.
  • Perform patient scheduling and documentation.
  • Provide excellent patient care while following A.I.D.E.T. communication standards.

Shift: Days | Monday–Friday | 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures, prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, and produce high-quality diagnostic images in a busy hospital environment. The technologist will also assist with Nuclear Cardiology and PET/CT procedures while maintaining compliance with all radiation safety regulations.

Schedule
  • Monday–Friday
  • 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
  • 5 x 8-hour shifts
  • No holidays
  • No on-call

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience in a busy hospital setting.
  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
Required Certifications
  • Active NJDEP License
  • ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) or NMTCB Registry
  • BLS (AHA)
