Job Description
Overview
Under general supervision, performs diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures using radioisotope and radiation detection methods.
Key Responsibilities
Executes clinical nuclear medicine procedures across all locations and patient types. Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals and medications for imaging. Processes data and enhances digital images. Provides images and data analysis to physicians. Selects appropriate technical factors based on individual patient needs and provides patient care accordingly.
Applies knowledge of nuclear medicine principles, including anatomy, physiology, radiation safety, quality assurance, and patient care. Ensures safety and compliance in storage and handling of radiopharmaceuticals, adhering to regulatory standards.
Documents patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
Maintains a safe work environment, manages supplies and inventory, reports equipment or environmental issues as needed.
Participates in performance improvement initiatives, workflow enhancements, and staff training activities.

Compensation:
Pay Range: $38.67 - $58.05 per hour.
