Execute a variety of nuclear medicine services, exercise professional judgment, maintain ethical standards, and ensure accurate image production for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
Completion of an AMA-approved radiologic technologist program, certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NCT or RT), California Nuclear Medicine Certification, and BLS certification. Requires a minimum of 6 months recent experience or 2 years full-time experience with limited absence.
Up to 1 year of nuclear medicine experience, especially for recent graduates.
Strong technical skills, professional judgment, adherence to medical ethics, and ability to work on-site in a full-time role.
