What you need to know about this position:

• The practice of nuclear medicine technology imaging encompasses multidisciplinary skills, using rapidly evolving instrumentation, radiopharmaceuticals, and techniques.
• The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, empathetic patient contact, care, and monitoring; procurement, preparation, quality control, dispensing, dose calibration, administration, and disposal of radiopharmaceuticals; administration of pharmaceuticals including oral and IV contrast (under an authorized user's direction); performing quality control procedures; and operating imaging, laboratory, and computer instrumentation.
• This is a full-time position scheduled for 40 hours per week, working from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations.
• The starting hourly rate is $36.94, with individual compensation based on relevant experience. It includes shift differentials and premium pay as applicable. The total rewards package also offers comprehensive benefits for qualifying positions.

Requirements for this position:

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, or 1-2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) is required.
• Nuclear Medicine License from the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) Medical Radiology Services Program is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

In this position, employees are frequently required to sit and talk or hear; occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to handle objects, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, push, or pull. Must regularly lift/move up to 10 lbs, frequently up to 50 lbs, and occasionally more than 100 lbs.
